EiiF Study 2021: The insulation contribution to decarbonise industry

On March 1, 2021, EiiF published its 2nd study on the savings potential with industrial insulation. The survey is based on 2500 Tip Check inspections over the past 10 years. To analyze the savings potential, the study takes the energy losses from the current insulation method at industrial companies and compares them with the scenario where everything is insulated according to the energy classes for insulation defined by the German guideline VDI 4610.

The report has been presented to the cabinet of Charles Michel - President of the European Council, to the cabinet of Frans Timmermans and to DG Energy and all our contacts.
